Based in San Mateo. Twenty-five years of knowing what to do when the moment only happens once.
Twenty-five years. A camera. A story worth telling.
I've shot inside the Sydney Opera House. Canterbury Cathedral. The Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro in San Sebastián. I created thirteen original videos projected onto the dome for a concert at Chabot Space & Science Center. When a venue only gives you one take and the performance of a lifetime is happening in front of you, you'd better know what you're doing.
I do.
I've worked with performing arts organizations, global corporations, and nonprofits that punch well above their weight. The budgets vary. The expectation that the work will be exceptional doesn't.
I shoot. I direct. I edit. I deliver.
Sound matters just as much as picture, I've spent close to fifteen years recording live choral performances, so the audio you get back is as considered as the video.
Bay Area based. I go where the work takes me.
When I'm not behind a camera, I'm usually building something. I run Ochre, a small software studio, and I write about the work every week on my Substack, From the Trenches.
If you have something worth making, I'm interested.
Based in the Bay Area. Available wherever the project needs me, from local stages to international venues.
I take on a limited number of projects at a time, which means every one gets real attention. If you've got something worth doing right, let's talk about it.
